This policy explains how Velvet Realty Group collects, uses, shares, protects, and retains information through velvetrealtygroup.com, our real estate services, and our business communications on Facebook and Instagram.

Information You Choose To Share

We may receive your name, phone number, email address, real estate goals, property or location preferences, timing, appointment details, requested resources, and the contents of messages you submit through a website form, email, phone call, or text message. We use this information to answer your request, schedule consultations, deliver requested resources, provide real estate guidance, and support an active or potential transaction.

Facebook And Instagram Information

When you contact or interact with the Velvet Realty Group Facebook Page or Instagram professional account, Meta may make information available to us through its business tools and APIs. Depending on your interaction and privacy settings, this may include your name or username, Meta account or conversation identifier, profile information made available by Meta, message or comment text, attachments you send, timestamps, and engagement with our business content.

We use this information to read and respond to messages, provide customer service, moderate business-page interactions, maintain conversation history, and manage or publish Velvet Realty Group content. We do not use Meta information for unrelated profiling or automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. Meta processes information under its own Privacy Policy.

Essential Website And Attribution Data

The website and hosting provider may process technical information needed for security and reliable delivery, such as an IP address, request time, browser information, error details, and rate-limit records. Internal delivery and security logs may include a hashed IP address, user-agent information, request identifiers, and delivery status. Lead-delivery records are stored outside the public website directory with restricted file permissions.

To identify how a visitor reached the site when that visitor later submits a lead, the site stores first-party attribution data such as campaign parameters, click identifiers, referring hostname, landing page, and first- and last-touch source information for a rolling period of up to 90 days. Velvet Realty Group does not sell personal information. We may share information with providers that help operate the business, including our website host, Google analytics services when permitted, Brevo for email delivery, Lofty for customer-relationship management and consultation scheduling, Meta for Facebook and Instagram business communications, and LPT Realty, LLC. We may also share relevant information with a lender, title company, inspector, or other transaction professional when you request it or when reasonably needed to support a transaction. Those organizations process information under their own policies and legal obligations.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, to investigate misuse, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.

Communications

We may use the contact information you provide to respond on the channel you used or another channel you requested. Where a marketing message is sent, you may opt out by following its unsubscribe instructions, replying STOP to an eligible text message, or contacting us. Opting out of marketing does not prevent service or transaction communications you request.

Security And Retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and access controls intended to protect information, but no website, transmission method, or storage system is completely secure. Meta Data Deletion Instructions

To request deletion of information received through the Velvet Realty Group Facebook or Instagram experience, email velvetrealtygroup@gmail.com with the subject “Meta Data Deletion Request.” Identify Facebook or Instagram, provide the username or profile name used to contact us, and describe the conversation or information to delete. Do not send a password or access token. We may ask for reasonable verification so we do not delete another person's information.

After verification, we will delete or de-identify information under our control and request deletion from processors where appropriate, generally within 30 days. We may retain a limited record when required by law, brokerage or transaction obligations, fraud prevention, security, or dispute resolution. Removing the app or revoking permissions in your Meta settings prevents future access but may not delete information already provided to us; use the email process above for deletion.

Your Choices And Contact

Children's Privacy

Our services are directed to adults seeking real estate services and are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.
